I don’t travel nearly as much as I used to when I was younger but a couple of months ago Mrs. Z and I had to make a quick out-of-state run.. We flew out of SeaTac and decided to go with Shuttle Express Town Car.. definitely not the cheapest but we reserved for both going to the airport. Pick up got us to the airport…

I don’t do frozen, prepared dishes or meals but frozen, organic vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, etc. really helps me keep a vegetable-heavy diet routine and has significantly reduced the amount of food waste I generate.

Many moons ago I was free-styling a ham dinner and came up with my now go-to glaze: about a cup of cherry preserves, simmered in apple juice with a teaspoon each of ground cinnamon and clove. Score the ham and pour this over it. Bake as directed.
