The good news is my daughter is an adult now so those days are behind us.

Your story is the same conversation I tried to have with my daughter when I felt she was being bullied in grade school but my wife wouldn’t stand for it. 

Not so long ago on Facebook I found a post that said bullying didn’t exist in schools and the real problem is that parents don’t teach their children to stand up for themselves. I can’t go back. This hurts.
