IIRC, the headlights came up one at a time (something to do with one "filling up" first, maybe someone else can elaborate). So if you turned them on and then off right away, only one came up, and then went back down.

I think you misread the title, and didn't bother to read the article. The article acknowledges the hosts support for the kid. The title is kind of ambiguous though, you can read it as them supporting the gamer, or the gamers prison time.
