They're a pretty small team. They were really crunching hard on the finale of Kill La Kill, they were animating it the day it was supposed to air.
There's a few things that bothers me about Nomura's style, is that he has a lot of right hand bias, and he's not very good at staging characters near each other. Like most of the covers and splashes for the KH series, they seemed to be worked on individually, and then composited together.
