@Spykedude: For a reboot, it's tough to pull off something like that without establishing the new characters and setting up the arc. I think Garfield's up to playing a grittier Spider-Man, but he and the rest of the cast need to develop into their roles for it to be truly amazing like The Dark Knight.

@Shteve: I think the actors lost their appeal. Tobey was good for awhile, but the character never really developed and he never seemed to age to me.

@neo5suna: The funny thing is that I hadn't ever considered anyone for the role until the Fillion vs. Wahlberg issue came up. Now I can't understand why they'd take anyone over Fillion; he's perfect!

Spoilers abound in the hereafter nether regions of this post...

@Dezerus Richardson: Just makin' it easy for our inevitable robot overlords to use our fat cells as incubators for their ro-babies or some other such word mash-up of "robot" and "babies."

@oogabubchub: If it's just the play and charge cable, there's no incentive for me to pick it up; there are half a dozen controllers between my roommates and I, but the strictly wired versions offer more rumble feedback and feel more comfortable in general. The play and charge cables still run the device as though it

@shaitan.pt: Ah. I wasn't aware of that the new black and chrome controller had a wired option. I suppose I'll give both it and the Onza a try.

So far I'm loving pretty much everything I'm seeing, which is usually a sign that the controller's too good to be true. I hope to see a Kotaku review of the gamepad before impatience and curiosity take over and I end up with another third-party disappointment.

@Cellsong: I'm personally glad they don't; after discontinuing production on first-party wired controllers, there isn't any way for me to get a quality wired controller without investigating third-party alternatives.

@Apoleptica: Razer's website says the tournament version has force feedback.

@Wess28: Those are gamer callouses. He's from the CoD streets, and he rolls in hard.

@jezzarisky: It lacks chat-pad functionality, but has definite appeal to the competitive crowd. Have you tried using a keyboard instead of the chat pad?

@erikwoods: Mad Catz' attempts to make a solid remap-capable controller have been pretty lackluster; they may have beaten Razer to the punch, but that doesn't mean the competition doesn't have a haymaker in the works.

@ContagnionArmageddon: I'd sure as hell enjoy shooters more on the PS3 if that's the case; Sony's controller is painful and the thumbstick placement feels so outdated compared to the 360's design.

@danielcital: As a third party controller, Razer Onza will only be available in wired form, which does support rumble feedback and fifteen feet of cable.

I work at Gamestop, so it's really in my best interest to shop with the store; it shows I'm loyal to the company, but I do get to take advantage of some good deals.

@orijimi: But that isn't to say those who spend on additional features aren't also enjoying the system they way they want to.

@spoonTRex: I can imagine an assembly of crimson-cloaked Microsoft department heads staring down from thrones, sipping centuries-old wine from solid gold goblets, whispering in a most sinister fashion, "No."

@ryujiikata: I played it quite a bit, but I guess I hadn't encountered either of the Pokemon until after catching Suicune. Bad call on my part.

@f4naota: I assume the downloads require the player to have defeated the Elite Four and obtained the National Pokedex. That's when Raikou and Entei appear randomly in the wild and Suicune waits for you near Cerulean City.
