@indyit: Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver. A remake of my two favorite versions in the entire series, with the ability to get all of the other version monsters? Hell yes.

@Turkeyslam: I played five minutes of it last night. I was too tired to continue; ended up dozing off and walking off a hole in the ground into a pit of lava.
@SurprisedFace: Halo: Combat Evolved. It's why I've been supporting the Microsoft systems and made the decision to pursue a career in game design.
@OmegaSpartan08: It's when I head back to school. This all started as a holiday challenge for myself, but the constant flow of visitors and all the parties has made it a little difficult, otherwise I would have shot for 45,000.
@TrjnRabbit: I've passed up most RPGs, racing and sports titles, and platformers. Now that I think about it, Phantasy Star offers some hefty achievement points for killing maybe ten or so different boss monsters, but I don't know how much time I'd have to invest for each monster.
I'm on a quest for a 40,000 Gamerscore before January 14th. Weighing in at 38,882, I think I'm a contender, but I was wondering what Kotaku readers might suggest for an enjoyable experience as I knock out my last 1200 points.
@TrjnRabbit: Wanted: Weapon of Fate, Stormrise, Call of Duty 3, Rogue Warrior. I played Frisbee with a brick wall. I thought that was better than trading it in and inadvertently spreading the hate.
@Lulzor: The Dwarf quest was insanely long. I didn't expect to spend twelve hours down there when I spent maybe three or four anywhere else.
@cat. bus. - Die bad robots! Die!: I think it does a good job of illustrating how ridiculous it is to believe that games serve as any sort of simulation or guide for violence.
@Shinta: My arachnophobia made it a little difficult to play the Mage origin story, actually. It was, admittedly, pretty ridiculous, even without considering the fact that I've resolved myself to not play through the Mage origin ever again.
@That mop mutant: I don't know. Blood relation or not, I'd be pretty pissed if I couldn't get my Boom Blox on.
@sander_dutch: "Where am I, Christopher?"
@Kanji08: I have family members like that. They'll go months without using something like a Nintendo DS or a 360 or a Blu-Ray Player, then decide they want to use it and flip out when it's not in the same exact place they put it four or five months ago. It makes me wonder why the have the system in the first place if…
@PlayerX: I'm so ashamed of myself...
@Chris Morrison: That's certainly a good point. I suppose I shouldn't be so quick to assess him so negatively. Face-to-face discussion with someone always gives you better insight into what they truly mean as opposed to an article or web post.
@The Forgetful Brain: I agree. Cameron's just pulling something out of his ass so he can continue with the social/political commentary, which only hurts the film and game. It's rather disappointing, considering how positively I viewed the Avatars and Na'vi in the first place.
@Blake Lowry: I had no idea the Conquest side-game affected the campaign beyond small upgrades to health and experience. I would have invested a lot more time into it had I known that.
That's great to hear. Just as much as gamers get the shaft for whatever outrageous crime can be linked by there being a copy of a game in the perpetrator's home, so too can parents get the shaft for not being responsible.
@TVs_Frank: I used to watch Seinfeld a lot as a child. I think that's partly to blame for some the behavior I find myself indulging in now.
@ShaggE: Cracking Eggs Of Wisdom: It's a lot of fun, and the gameplay reminded me a lot of Red Faction: Guerrilla. It is definitely worth playing if you're into RF:G.
