Not having real back doors and no rear visibility killed it. You cant have these kind of vehicles without selling most to mall queens/DDs. Average people will take practicality over retro or cool style.
the problem with the FJ is they really only styled it after the classic Land Cruiser. it was almost a caricature, really; kind of like the 2002 Thunderbird.
or just upgrade withe expansion valve kit for the most recent Freon alternative. the fact that is has a working compressor and blower is good enough for me. Or I could finally use up the freon I have stored in the basement.

Funny to think that Owen Wilson is the one actually charting a path here - he seems much looser than Luke. Maybe it’s just so Owen gets to say “wow” in every film.
