The only day that Gran Turismo beat Barbie was Friday which doesn’t bode well for Gran Turismo’s long term success at the box office. We will see a big drop off next weekend for it. Blue Beetle did better than I thought this weekend so maybe it can scratch out a halfway decent run.

You can get a ton of kitchen stuff for cheap at thrift stores. Most college kids aren’t cooking Michelin star meals so used equipment should be fine for them.

Based on Blue Beetle’s box office performance, I wouldn’t hold my breath for a sequel.

It’s the summer of Ayo Edebiri!

I’m pretty sure that this was a storyline in the first or second season of Atlanta where Earn tried to beat Michael Vick in a foot race. Luckily for Earn, they only thing he hurt was his pride.

At least get rid of the rule that franchisees still have to pay the franchise fee even after the store closes.

What is Dodge going to be without the Charger and Challenger? I know that they’re going to do some sort of EV muscle car, but I don’t think that’s going to appeal to their core audience. Even the Durango is pretty long in the tooth at this point and is due for a refresh soon as this generation came out in 2011.

With Riverdale and Nancy Drew both ending last night, it’s an end of an era for the CW. Gone are the high school and superhero shows and it’s place, lower tier sports and imported shows mostly from Canada. I probably won’t watch anything on it until Superman & Lois come back sometime next year and with the strikes

Frank and Sheriff Tom were killed by Betty’s fake brother Chic!

If college ages kids aren’t drinking Natty Light, who will be?

The Fusion died a couple of years ago.

There’s only one correct answer: Edgar Evernever with his rocket and Evel Knievel jumpsuit.

The Price is Right is losing all of their cheap cars for their pricing games!

I first played this in the late 90's when LucasArts used to release a whole bunch of their old games on CD relatively inexpensively. I think I got 6 or 7 games for $30.

Thank goodness that Custer’s Revenge is playable!

I suppose it depends if the emulator they’re using supports them. I’m guessing that they’re using an off the shelf emulator and not building their own.

It probably does dump the game into the RAM. As long as there is around 20MB of internal memory free, you can put just every 2600 and 7800 game including hacks and homebrew on the system.

I wonder if it can handle other controllers other than joystick and paddle controllers. There was a trackball controller released pretty late in its life, a keyboard and driving controllers that looked similar to the paddle controllers but could spin a full 360 degrees instead of the 270 degrees the paddle controllers

It’s an end of an era at the CW tonight as both Nancy Drew and Riverdale end. I don’t think I’ll watch the CW again until Superman & Lois comes back sometime in 2024 which due to the strikes going on, might not be until summer 2024.

It’s slim pickings out there. It’s crazy to see old movies on iTunes that cost $5 to rent. Movies that are over 5 years old should be no more than $2-3 to rent.
