I think cost will be the big issue here. Will pet owners pay three times as much for this as regular food? Probably not. But if they can make this price competitive, pet owners will be a lot more accepting.

My local McDonald’s has Minute Maid orange juice available so it’s probably just an issue with your store. It also looks like lemonade is a $0.90 upcharge for value meals. 

It seems like an odd thing to get rid as they still serve both coffee and hot chocolate. You can probably just ask them for a half coffee and half hot chocolate.
