I believe that I knew all these were films before tv shows except for Gomorrah which I haven’t heard of before. The Teen Wolf show is vastly different from the movie. The only things that they have in common is the title and some character names. The movie was wild because everyone in town knew Scott was a werewolf

Sure, Aldi is cheaper than Whole Foods, but just about every other grocery store is. You really have to compare Aldi to Walmart and local grocery stores. Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that Aldi prices have really crept up so they’re really almost the same price as Walmart for most things now. I just checked

It almost does read like an advertorial.

I hope he gets to make UHF 2!

Something similar happened to a Chevy I owned. It was from the early 2000’s so it had an OnStar that used analog cell service. Less than a decade later the service was useless when cell service switched to all digital.

The AMC Gremlin of course!

Yup. De Laurentiis has the rights for Red Dragon, Hannibal and Hannibal Rising while MGM has the rights to Silence of the Lambs. That Clarice show was hysterical in that they couldn’t mention Hannibal Lecter by name and only vaguely alluded to him. Now that Amazon  owns MGM, I could see them doing a TV-MA adaptation

I hear you. Bravo used to air opera. MTV and VH1 used to air music videos. Now all those networks run is cheap reality shows.

Yup, according to Deadline, it was quietly canceled in June and was shopped around without the public knowing it was canceled.

Nope. It’s considered a variety show.

Fun fact! No Peacock scripted original has been given three seasons yet.

Everyone forgets about the Mitsubishi Mirage.

I could be rolling with my Homy!

The filling seems like it’s closely related to cookie butter, which is cookie crumbs mixed with fat and sugar. Lotus Biscoff is probably the most famous brand, but there are others. I think Trader Joe’s has their own.

TLDR:

Dominick’s was already out of business when Albertsons and Safeway merged (Dominick’s went out of business in 2013 and the merger happened in 2015) so there wasn’t any monopoly in the Chicago grocery market. I’m guessing that the Jewel stores that occupy old Dominick’s just moved to to be in a better and/or newer locat

Out of curiosity, I compared prices for this sandwich and the regular roast beef sandwich, the Big John. The Big John has lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise standard. I can add onions and pickles for free, but there’s no option to add cheese, onion strings or thousand island dressing. The Big John is $7.29 and the Beefy

And most of what we think of hell doesn’t come from the Bible, but Dante’s Inferno.

Yeah, it does seem strange that the GBBO would have a Mexican themed challenge since Mexican culture isn’t nearly as ingrained in Britain as it is here in America. I was curious to see if London had any good Mexican restaurants and it looks like there’s a few though not nearly as many as most major American cities.

He looks look Fix-It Felix Jr. with a moustache!
