He was robbed of an Emmy nomination for Trust. I think the biggest problem was that the show had no traction and it came out the same time as All The Money in the World which told almost the same story.

Yeah, you could tell it was canceled halfway through the second season. There were obviously plot lines like the pirates that were meant to continue in season three, but were cut due to its cancellation.

Death Race 2000!

Console TV’s died off in the 80’s. You really couldn’t make a flat screen one now because the vertical viewing angles of them are a lot narrower than the CRT’s of old and screens in console TV’s were only a few inches off the ground. Now TV’s are set up at eye height.

One thing I noticed was that Dave Grohl doesn’t have the falsetto range to sing that song properly.

Season two of Resistance was the worst when it came to this. The middle half of the season was like six or seven episodes where they needed to find supplies. It was pretty bad and a reason why that show was so quickly forgotten.

Interesting that we’re getting another reboot so quickly after the failed movie reboot. Charlie’s Angels did the kind of the opposite of that where they made a movie after a failed tv reboot. But that was eight years between and this is only a year. Since they’re airing it in August, this seems like a burn off.
