Do 14 year olds wear Marc Jacobs? Really? Because I think it’s kinda creepy to get a barely-teenager to model clothes for adult women. Unless she’s modeling for other teenagers. Which maybe she is. Do 14 year olds really wear Marc Jacobs?
The type of people who would do this are not likely to learn from the video. This is clearly here for clickbait not to ‘teach’ people not to humiliate their kids. OP can at least be honest about that.
Having a dead child is not mutually exclusive with being an abuser.
Holy crap. I have just over a grand to spend on a wedding in three moths. This makes me feel really....poor. We have to have it this year due to parental health issues. He has a giant Irish family. It is going to be an awesome disaster. My plan is to get everyone drunk and hope for the best.
They’re not analogous in comfort, they’re analogous in that they’re both public transportation.
Of course this would affect men and woman equally /s
I guess families don’t get to use public transportation according to some of the commenters here. Should be ban children from buses too?
But it doesn’t include being denied access to public transportation.
I like to tell ‘em that studies across disciplines repeatedly demonstrate a correlation between homophobia and homophobic urges.
OK that’s it....we have to move. I like living in the country but there’s NO jobs and all the women seem to have babies and it’s hard to meet people who I really vibe with, which is unusual for me. I like Ireland but I am ready for a change of scenery to another county! I recently visited Donegal and it’s amazing but…
Take care of that gut wtih the anti inflammatories, take with food if you’re going to be on them long term or alternate with tylenol of you can....your unsolicited advice for the day! :P And remember to take them on a schedule as it can be harder to manage pain once it’s set in than to prevent it. Back pain can be so…
hmm that’s a good point! I’ve not heard anyone be overtly homophobic but I know from talking to my husband that quite a few of his friends voted ‘NO’. You wouldn’t be able to tell from talking to them but I guess there’s still some closet Catholicism here lol
I wish I was in Dublin for that victory! Tipperary is quite conservative as I suspected and from the results...but it gives me hope, most of the people I’ve met are from around here and there is definitely more of a conservative vibe. The referendum results helped me map out where I might want to live in Ireland too :)
ditto.
When the results were first announced I had a paradoxically ragey reaction over the total lack of equality for women in Ireland.
OK I donated 10 Euro to the abortion support network in your name I just thought you should know! Much respect for turning this conversation around. :)
pain is awful and all consuming, sometimes it just helps to vent online I understand
:( noo I’m so sorry to hear that. Really don’t worry about it, this thread brought out a lot of emotions for people and I found myself in conversation with another user where we both apologised for being shitty to each other once she suggested hey we’re on the same side why are we fighting, so this was probably just…
I mostly agree, but I do think it’s one step on a long journey. Maybe it’s naive to think that if enough people get upset about it, something will change. I am not very good at geopolitics, I just reflect on some things I used to be really judgy about until I learned more about them and now research and advocate…
