I regularly switch between several accents on a lark, usually British, although my Cockney sucks, and Deep Southern. But I tend to stay with “proper” American accent and dialect. All by choice.

Okay why is having a LGBTQ character all that important in a superhero movie? If it was a story specifically about and revolving around the character being LGBTQ, then sure go for it. But trying to shoehorn it in sucks the life out of the character and the situations they are in.

It would be welcome to STOP shoehorning the Xenomorph in just because “fans demand it”. But it can be just as bad if you fight putting it in just as much as you think fans want to see it.
