Oh yes. Let’s completely overlook that Cadillacs are REAL luxury cars not dressed up Chevies. No, the ATS came before the Camaro so the Camaro6 is a dressed down ATS. The SS is on the Zeta platform not the Alpha.

You don’t want to pay $60+K for a car with an engine from a $40K Camaro. It is a matter of perception. Also the LT1 in the C7 Corvette Stingray and the Camaro6 SS makes 465hp/465lb-ft its not much of a trade off for the TT-6 making 464hp/445lb-ft that has a much faster response and a higher redline. And NO they are…
MT did a comparo with the Camaro6 SS versus the M4. Spolier: the Camaro6 SS aced the M4 is nearly every criteria, including those the M4 is supposed to be unassailably best at. Even the Interior was considered “as goods as”. It is fair to assume the ATS-V, which is basicaly “a Camaro6 in a suit”, has better steering…
Damn those contemptible Germans! Who won the war, us or them?
These cars should almost sell themselves. I blame JDN and the PR dept of GM. It is like they are trying to NOT sell Cadillacs.
Chris Harris has always been a man who has a particular taste in cars. For the most part it leans on cars being more and more, better and better, just more advanced. The Original NSX is simply outshined by more modern sports cars. No matter who good the First NSX is/was, it just does not meet his personal criteria as…
Viper Convertibles made up most of Viper sales. Where were the Convertibles?
I think Subaru was one to something, putting their car’s driver assist sensors just above normal driver’s eye level so the car can see what teh driver would see. Just make it 360-degrees and I think we are on to something.
1) I bet fanboys are like “the GT-R would have won without the head start”.
I like watching a fst car take a corner. You can tell so much about the car from seeing that. That said, your featured gif loops right at the point were it gets good, at the corner. Bummer.
OH MY GAWD! She’s a muscular woman and... “Oh Lord! The patriarchy! How will it survive mainstream imagery of women of equal strength and ability, who don’t rely on sueprpowers or sucking down some potion, and is NOT some alien or specially gene-modded freak?”
One second on a track that long, that has tremendously variable conditions almost minute to minute, in a car with more power, and while not explicitly said, I’m fairly certain the Panamera Turbo has AWD that is there for PERFORMANCE before safety (It is a Porsche), so despite being heavier, it’s going to only…
Really they NEVER thought of this before? Never? Ever? This is why EVs are less than 3% of the US car market.
There is always the railgun.
Yeah not that far from the sci-fi, is it?
That would be true, if it was a “solid” column of water to have to fire through. But even heavy rain would have a nearly zero reduction in effective range, accuracy, and power of the beam.
Isn’t a manual in an off-road vehicle actually a bad idea? It just makes trail running and crawling even harder, burning the clutch, stalling the engine on a hard climb, and so on.
The real reason for the investment is the C8 Corvette, while it will retain the FMR layout of previous corvettes, will be a totally new platform that is lighter, made of more, much more (I know what I said), advanced materials.
Irony: Viper with V8 as a base model would have saved the Viper overall. V-10 Viper SRT-10 models would still exist but would not be responsible for holding up the entire Viper tent.
