Thanks. It has been reported in media, just not very frequently, and rarely in conjunction with those big national maps showing how many cases each state has. I don’t think it’s part of the national story yet.

I’ve spoken to multiple doctors. There have only been twenty tests completed in the entire state. Everyone is saying that any day now the private testing facilities like LabCorp are going to start processing tests, but until that happens, availability is statistically zero in Alabama.

No man, no names to name. I was operating on old information. Got a hundred people here telling me alcohol isn’t a problem but you’re the first to clarify that triclosan disinfectants aren’t on the market like they used to be.

I’ve been operating on that assumption for about a week. I’ve been trying my damnedest to avoid sick people, and now I’m home sick with a mystery illness that fits all the descriptors for COVID-19, but my doc won’t to test me because I haven’t knowingly interacted with someone who traveled to China or Europe. I know

This is a useful contribution to the conversation. I thought triclosan was only banned from use in soaps, not sanitizer or cleaning wipes.

Okay Mr. Trump.

Nor have I ever said that we were.

That’s soap. There isn’t a ban on all cleaning products with triclosan.

That’s quite a leap of logic. The beneficial effect of handwashing is a fundamentally different function than that of hand sanitizer. You’re literally washing away the contaminants, rather than killing them.

You can clean things without using the harshest chemicals possible. All I’m saying.

Actually, I’m correctly assuming most people confuse alcohol-based disinfectants with triclosan-based disinfectants. But yes, antibiotics being prescribed when they aren’t necessary contributes to the same problem.

The author doesn’t specify alcohol-based cleaners, and a troubling number of people show a preference to triclosan-based cleaners due to the bigger list of “things it kills” on the label. People, as a whole, tend to tune out when you get into specifics, so it’s a lot more effective to just advise them to wash their

We should all be bringing antibacterial wipes to give our space a wipe down in general, not just while there’s a virus spreading the world.

I used to use an iPhone, but I actually like to have control of the devices I own.

But what can I do to get rid of an unwanted president?

But what can I do to get rid of an unwanted president?

I mean, I would probably do this rather than try to suck on ear wax, but also I wouldn’t spend my money on overpriced Apple products like this. Even if I was an iPhone user, I’d still just use Anker or Sony bluetooth headphones.

The main takeaways here are “gentle”, “careful”, “slowly” and the fact that you’re supposed to have some earwax in your ears to keep invaders from penetrating farther.

I agree. It was a well-earned punchline and I for one legit lol’d.

God bless you. I woke up early this morning, and was sitting here trying to ignore a meowing cat because he’s not supposed to be fed for another ten minutes. He managed to wake up the dogs with his wails, and then I read this article and thought “fuck yes, good idea.” Now they’re all eating breakfast and I can hear

I just want to address the elephant in the room.
