I think a huge amount of commenters on Jezebel feel the same way, including myself. I remember loving this site when I began reading it two or so years ago, but now it sometimes seems like they're just trolling. Do you have any idea what changed?

Does anyone remember when Tracie Egan Morrissey wrote an article about how abusing and beating up you boyfriend is no big deal, maybe she shouldn't be writing articles about this incident (i do not think what Solange did was "abuse" but it does leave a funny taste in my mouth that Tracie is writing this article).

I couldn't roll my eyes hard enough when I saw the headline for the "sisters are so complicated guys" thing Moore wrote. Morrissey cusses a little and says things like "kicked in the balls" so I always read her celeb pieces. BUT STILL.

I don't know what Solange was mad about in the elevator, but she really must be irate now that she is all over the news wearing that tragic dress that she probably wishes she had never worn and everyone could forget.

This was thoroughly pointless. I would've liked a discussion of why these are the narratives we are quick to turn to. Instead it's just another piece of pure speculation. We have literally zero clues so far, so why bother?
