I didn't play it but I really don't get what you're saying about Dante's Inferno. It's poignant regarding suicide because you can die in the game?

The problem is that the vast majority of games end when you finish them. I remember how sad I was when reloading a completed save file of Ocarina of Time would just take me back to before the boss fight. I know that in that particular game there's a bunch of time travel junk in place that stops it from making sense
