I was thinking of having doing something with the Amish on Amish beard cutting clans. Pretty easy to trim the beard to look amish then jaggad on bottom with a few spots missing from a hair trimmer. Follow up with good will clothes and maybe a sign and your good.

Im pretty happy with ESPN scoretracker.

Be wary of anyone carrying a deck of cards.

I call BS. No way they cross drives over from classified to unclassified machines. That defeats the purpose. We dont do it where i work and I highly doubt its ok with any other government place of work. I cant even bring my cell phone (cameras removed) within 20' of a classified machine even when the harddrive is

Agreed. I love my smartphone for internet, calls/txts, email and games (sorta). But i will continously reinvest in large capacity Ipod classics because they hold a lot of music and the battary lasts for ever. I dont have to worry about saving battery on long trips, flights, etc. because i might need to make a call

The deal is dead, all the 5 hour energy drinks have been claimed.

Its been a while since I last took malarone but I remember a little of both bad and wierd. I wouldn't say pleasent or normal dreams but not night terrors either. On that note I know some people used to take another antmalarial that was not as strong and had to be taken twice a day but i dont remember the name.

The general consensus of people I have traveled with (or met) on Malarone needing trips is that it causes bad dreams. Of course I would take odd and disturbing dreams for a few weeks over a lifetime of malaria any day.

I usually add soap and a little water and froth the crap out of it until the soap suds bubble out. Every now and then you can just unscrew the bottom screen part for a really deep clean. Adding a little vinegar cuts through coffee oils well too, but for a french press is not very necessary.

Thats what I saw when I first loaded the page and skipped the article thinking it was about cars. Good thing I check giz multiple times a day!

I have the same issue with only being able to reply to people and not an article. Granted I am on a government computer but it is still very frustrating.

I doubt its those casks, but i guess it could be. I dont remember the specifics but they are designed for worst case scenario of being in a train accident falling 3 meters off the platform onto ~6" spike while in a fuel fed fire and then rolling down a hill and plunging 50 meters into water. Again i dont remember

I just got tickets to there secret small venue show in Seattle! I am only posting this because I like gizmodo enough, otherwise I wouldnt share. EITS posted this the 29th via twitter.

I dont think 22 billion is that bad really. Granted I do work for a governemnt shipyard and see this work done so i might be biased. Lets consider the Nimitz class ships cost ~4.5 billion and the new ford class is expected to be around $8-9 Billion a ship. We have 11 carriers in service among 286 active ships.

A little into yourself? Try a backpacking trip or a sea kyaking trip where you dont get to go back to your car and restock and weight and space are extremely important. I mean a garbage bag, really? One pinch from your pack or branch in your path will take out a garbage bag. $135 really is not that bad for good

Agreed this is bad reporting. Radiation CANT leak, contamination CAN leak. Sieverts or Rem are a measures of radiation, Curies are a measure of contamination. However, contamination is radioactive. So whats going on is the vents got contaminated (curies) and they are reading the radiation (sieverts/Rem) from the

This is actually a technique for saving people from the PADI Rescue Diver course. At one point we had practice "saveing" someone from the water with whatever we had around, coolers, life vests, etc. Coolers actually worked better then a lot of things.

Agreed. Working with submarines daily, this seems like a ridiculously stupid application that will never happen. Not to mention putting this sort of porous grid over an entire sub would hugely increase drag. Most importantly though subs are designed like stealth fighters, to absorb and deflect sonar, what would

Magnetron? Why would they use the name of something that produces microwaves?
