@moonshadowkati: I think a lot of it is them not trusting us. There is also the angle that these religious leaders really enjoy their power base, and use our soldiers merely to say to the rest of the locals: "hey, look what I got from the stupid Americans." IMO of course.

@jeremytownsend: So happy I finally didn't miss one of these good programs before it got pulled.

@markbe: I'm not positive on the iPod touch, but I know for the older 3.x versions for the iphone you can download the older firmware from the net and restore to an older version still, depending on which version you are going to and whether you have SHSHs on file for that device.

So congratulations to you, Mr electric car, car electrifier!

@EricL: Correct, restoring with iTunes always puts stock software back on the phone. You can backup while jailbroken without any problems, it is only restores that will un-jailbreak your phone.

@EricL: Definitely low risk, a simple iTunes restore would bring you back to stock.

@Kyle Hotchkiss: Don't worry, this is from the Dev Team... the one thing you should always do before updating or jailbreaking is check their site:

@DirtyDogg: Yes, via Calibre it can handle any current DRM free format.

@Dogen: It does not allow you to read DRM'ed files, no.

@Dogen: You can also backup your library yourself. Either manually via Windows Explorer( and whatever Apple and Linux call their respective programs,) or using Calibre ereader software. A free open source project.

@Phoenix303: Thx Phoenix, I meant to put that in my reply also.. didn't work with what is typed, so I hovered and found the full link that you just posted.

@KayKins: I expect many of them were pure scientific research. Something like we now do with the supercolliders, just seeing what spits out of there during detonation and the like.

@butaneko: You can get non-amazon purchased materials on your non-kindle hardware via Calibre I believe. Not to mention it does some other things very well.

@powermatic: Hell, there are faster 3/4 ton diesel pickups in the quarter mile, by quite a bit. 10.2 is not impressive at all for that car.

Vote: Amazon.com

@Deep-Blue: In lost sales, if one were to assume people would buy all those bumpers at retail cost they are estimating 175 million. In actual costs, this is probably more in the ballpark of:

So, for 1,149.98 you can have free power.
