Don’t try to be reasonable here. Any article that tries to define “mansplaining” is just”woman-splaining” at this point.

You don’t need a new term to define what condescending means. Apparently, feminism requires derogatory gender-based words to use as insulting terms to “equalize” men and women.

If you use this term in

Oh shit! I read 7:45 AM and was like “I dunno guys, that’s pretty early to be blaring music without moving.”

I’ve recently discovered radio stations do this too. I catch most music the first time through Spotify, then I’ll hear the song on a local top 40 station and the tempo is noticeably more rapid. Ruins listening to the radio for me...

I had to turn the volume on my computer way up to hear that ‘jingling’...the sound of her moving around in the car were many times louder.

Don’t tell someone they’re wrong when you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m a avid churner who’s closed several cards recently, they still affect your AAoA, it is well known...

Closing a card will not negatively affect your credit, period. In fact, that card history will remain on your report for 10 years and will still count toward your average age of account (AAoA) during that time.

I’m just saying, this kind of thing never happens at a steakhouse.

Mike Pence has declared that “we will put American boots on the face of Mars.” You know what, that’s really great. Have an amazing time, Mike and Karen!

Porcupines don’t “make love.” They porc.

I usually have no clue what he’s saying. Today after watching McCain I actually rewound the TV and questioned my own sanity. “Is it me? Am I having mad cow disease symptoms? I did eat beef in the U.K. in the 80's...”

It doesn’t matter. The man has been in court before. Tellingly, even the amount he thinks he’s worth, “depends on the day”.

Said a slightly different way...

pet peeve #2 is people that aren’t ready to go when the left arrow turns green. move, move, move people. maximize throughput.

That is 100% correct. Here in Chicago the general “rule” is that you pull far enough ahead (if you have the space, of course) that at least one more car behind you can make the turn once the light turns red.

Sadly, my experience in life is that 90% of people give zero fucks about anybody but themselves in every situation

My experience in 25 years of driving is that 90% of people give zero fucks about the cars behind them. They want to get through the intersection, but don’t care if anyone behind them makes it or not.

This is my biggest driving pet peeve. In regular driving conditions, you should always pull into the intersection and be ready to go if there’s a break in traffic or you get the green arrow. If the light turns yellow, you complete your turn so you’re not blocking the opposing traffic. It’s really pretty simple.

In a business situation, I am fine. But as a single woman, there are a lot of men who feel quite entitled to my personal space. And if I (kindly) rebuff them when they ask me out, I think they are signaling their civility (in acquiescing) by then a.) asking my name and b.) holding their hand out to shake. This sounds

I volunteer at a zoo talking to the public about the animals. Sometimes small kids will ask me about sex/reproduction (e.g. “Why is that boy lion laying on that girl lion’s back and roaring?” or “How does the baby panda get inside the mommy panda?”)

Totally second that point. There’s been a lot of talk about Trump being the “worst president since Nixon” but even reading the transcript of Nixon literally obstructing justice, it’s refreshing to see a president speaking in complete sentences and demonstrating a basic grasp of history and political consequences.
