And a double dumbass on you, too!

I’m re-watching the original series on Hulu. I watched reruns of these in the early 80s over and over as a kid until they were basically burned into my memory.

It’s right next to the unfinished bottle of wine.

I have a friend that’s just constantly an asshole to me. This was previously ameliorated by our drinking habits, we’d go out and after 2 or so beers he’d be all buddy buddy and cool. Now that we don’t really drink anymore he’s primarily just an ass, so I’m thinking I’m not going to be friends with him anymore. I

TNG FTW

Yup. She’ll always be the Enterprise to me. Hence the top spot in the collection.

‘Come at me, bro’ - Captain Jean-Luc Picard

Made famous by Terminator?! I think Colonel Jack O’Neill and the rest of SG-1 would have something to say about that. But seriously, not one single mention of the ten-year run of Stargate SG-1, with several establishing shots of Cheyenne Mountain in every episode?

Add making me side with Fox News to the reasons I hate Donald Trump.

Ha, sounds like you and I had the exact same middle school experience. Good times.

Yup, TNG and post-TNG Trek has done a fantastic job of withering the test of time when it comes to the aesthetic. I think it’s a testament to how strong their world-building was. I can’t think of any sci-fi setting as expansive as Star Trek’s that’s managed to remain so consistent.

So Gawker paid you to waste words that any idiot who actually used private browsing doesnt need to hear? I need that gig (well not, since I doubt it pays well).

Grief, Riker has put on a few pounds in that video.

Wow you’re a fucking idiot, well either that or just illiterate. I never said it was worth doing. The simple fact is if the research IS valuable, it’s far less valid outside of controlled conditions.

What a confusing and exciting time.

Oh.....I got tired-head after the 3rd paragraph and skipped to the comments.

Please stop equating religion and science, no matter how well meaning you’re being about it. There’s no “belief” in the religious sense in science, and it only feeds into the religious anti-science crap to imply there is.

Ok I honest to God just came to the comments to find someone who was thinking just like me. Found you. Thanks.

Seriously. Any strategy that involves scaring the tiger is a non-starter in my book. The last thing I want is to be face-to-face with a scared tiger. I mean, if he’s scared, what the fuck am I?

Kids, just because something is too hard for you to grasp does not mean it should be removed.
