Why are 90% of the comments from people who haven't seen the movie but have already decided they hated it!? It's so fascinating how many people think their opinion is so important that it is a service to others they they express their opinion even if they are not qualified to do so.

Winning awards doesn't mean something is great or that you'll like it, but it means it's probably at least worthy of consideration rather than dismissing out of hand.

I feel you, but this isn't quite the same thing - Her is an original film that you'd have no basis for what the film says or is actually about unless you've seen it. We all know what both of those say because they're about/based off a well-known politician and a well-known book.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised when you see the film, because it's all about the need to connect, and about what human contact means, and how tech stuff is helping or hindering that.
