I had similar concerns, but believe me when I say they were unfounded.

I saw it. I liked it. It actually confronted head-on the notion that it's difficult to have real parity in a relationship with something designed to serve. It also has a twist at the end which undermines the notion that the computer is only there for the man's personal desire. I went in with my feminist defenses…
Out of that list, I choose "Thoughts."
But y!!???
Adrian Grenier was born in 1976. Ariana Grande was born in 1993. That is all.
That knock of features the voice of Christopher Plummer. Doesn't look that bad actually.
No
Just to be clear, regardless of the merits of her argument, she never once claimed to speak for black people. She just articulated her own observations and actually explicitly said, in a follow up comment, that she speaks only from her own experience as someone who is "densensitized."
Why the black girl gotta be big?
Agreed. I know that's supposed to be the ultimate circumstance in the parade of horribles that's supposed to get me to reject alternative lifestyles, but I just don't care. If some gross brother and sister (or brother and brother) wanna get married, it just isn't my problem.
Totally. There's a movie coming out about her soon. I've linked the trailer elsewhere in this thread. Can't wait!
You're right. I even find myself thinking snarky things like: I can't believe her mother let her bra strap show in that picture.
Seems that Kanye was right about the leather jogging pants.
A picture of the cast of friends was supposed to embed, but it didn't. You get the point though.
No, I just was speaking in generality. America is 12 percent black. Major urban centers are usually closer to 20-50% black. For example, NYC is only 44 percent white. It's 25% black, 27% Hispanic, and 11% Asian. Yet we have this:
That's not how numbers work. America is almost 30% non white. There should be zero shows without a person of color in it unless it's set in Manhattan Iowa. And if it's set in Manhattan NY or any other urban center, which most shows are, it is unconscionable not to have a diverse cast.
Oh wow! I hadn't heard of him, but he is a perfect character!
Yeah. The interviewers were really great and empathetic too. They should get that woman for the View.
Wait. You're legitimately trying to claim that your anecdotal evidence of never noticing thin black women is some sort of "fact?"
