And there are some people who have bad acne or skin discoloration, for whom make up can make a world of difference. What if I said "I can't imagine why anyone would want to wear shape wear" — just because I'm thin and don't personally think its necessary? Or "I can't believe some people shave every day" — just

This post is incredibly naive.

I cut out both and then reintroduced dairy about a year later. (My skin had completely cleared by about 9 months). When I "reintroduced dairy" I never went back to eating cereal because I found that when I did I would get a big cystic bump within the next two days. (Note, I drink only whole milk with my cereal. It

I cut gluten and dairy at age 25 and it changed my face forever. Now I eat some dairy but dont have bowls of cereal or other straight up milk products anymore. (Just cheese and milk in (gluten free) baked goods. Soy milk at Starbucks etc). Also, I cheat occasionally — maybe one gluten item every week or two.

I cringed at that to, but I interpreted it the same way as zap.

I hear you, but I think what kr99 is saying is that while the behavior is clearly rape, the rapists don't see it that way. The know that rape is "bad" and that it's something they aren't supposed to do — that's why they deny being bad actors when the "R-word" is used, but admit to the same behavior if described

"Then at least you know she was beautiful."

I just would like to point out that while there may be some disagreement in the black community* about whether the N word is appropriate, there is pretty much a consensus that it is inappropriate for non-black people** to say it.

Oh man. I'll give her a pass. She had three boys. Yikes.

Hilarious!

OMG DANCE 360! How would I have gotten through sophomore year without it!!?

I feel like this should be the Hawaiian national food.

Not disagreeing with your underlying point, but I would like to point out the slight inconsistency between your examples. Saying all Latinos eat tacos isn't equivalent to saying Germans only eat sausage. It's equivalent to saying all Europeans eat (insert European food). Saying Germans only eat sausages is

People are upset because calling them (or anything that they do) pathetic is super harsh. It's probably one of the most intrinsically judgmental words in the English language. If you said that it seemed like a waste of time, or was kinda lame, or embarrassing, no one would care. But words like "pathetic" and

Tell us more!!

Honest question: What gives you the impression that anyone is putting a wedding at the top of their list priorities/achievement-wise?

If you don't see the difference between calling people "pathetic" for using pinterest, knowing nothing about who they are, and critiquing that baseless judgement, then there's nothing more to say here.

It's not a zero sum game. Everyone is super happy for people who get advanced degrees. They are also happy for people who get married. And who rum marathons. And who have babies. And who climb Everest. And who learn Mandarin.
