It's good to see that the police make a precedent of some of these athletes and they realize they can't get away with crimes.

Keep waiting to see the 1,000 star mark. It will be one small victory for Kinja.
hey, there are two facepalms!
I don't know. When I look at their schedules, it looks like they could all go 11-5 or 12-4.
Thank you. I shall now tell my moronic friend who lives and dies by the NHL (but has just awful opinions on the sport) that there is documented reference of the absolute lack of depth on this Pens squad.
I speak for Joseph Finn when I say, "Well the Bulls are gonna beat the Wizards so fuck off. And Go White Sox. I like thumbs in my butt."
I'm sorry, I am stuck in November 2013. What the fuck is this "Nets are good" talk?
I was just messing around. He's essentially a cracked-out Andrew Bynum, assuming Bynum is not smoking crack.
But why did they choose Lamar Odom? There are plenty of other guys they could have signed that don't smoke crack.
See what you've done, Kinja?
C.S. Lewis, our Narnia-loving Christian apologist, said something which I think, believer or not, is good middle ground. ALL people have a rooted understanding of right and wrong. The "moral compass" is ingrained. Sure, much of it is spelled out and explained through nurturing, but, to him, it's already there;…

that is a really obscure Simpsons reference.
Taking David Ortiz out of the World Series lineup based on Sabermetrics? Because the bench player had a better OPS/WAR against the pitcher on odd-numbered days and when the defensive lineup consisted of 38 percent Hispanic players with DRSes of .678 or above?
I actually find the second and third flubs to be just as bad as the "Achillius" one.
He's one of those players that benefited form one day making a team, and being just not bad enough to not be on a team from that point on. Some team always needed man no. 25, and he always made a slightly better than nonexistent impact in a game every once in a while.
I really don't actually care, but Steve Stone has a very strong reputation as one of the greatest analysts out there, which makes my head hurt when I think of him wasting his time in the same booth as Hawk, who actually has had semi-public outbursts about Stone not being a big enough "homer" and being a hater.
