THis guy must be quick to be able to take apart the evo and put it back together without cops noticing. on the Evo you need to take off the back cover, pop out the battery and then you can get to the sd card.

Actually the Xoom is a google device so its required to be easily rootable, which it is. As for the Thunderbolt root, I cant remember how that exploit was discovered but it was some freak leak that gave it life I believe.

Yes locked bootloader is enough for me. I was planning on upgrading my Evo4g but who knows now. Sure it might be able to get a temp root to allow apps that need su to run but bye bye custom roms.

Coincidence my ass. My nephew played on my ps3 the day before the patch for 4 hours on my phat ps3 problem free. Next day patch goes live so I update and play cod for 20 minutes when my ps3 beeps and shuts off.
