@aek8: 2.2 can now be rooted, its a bit tedious but I can confirm on my stock evo 2.2 that it works. Search over on xda forums for the tutorial.

Took my Evo 4G stock 2.2 and installed CM6. Freaking awesome!!! Cant even look at the wifeys stock phone now.

Cmon 2.2 Froyo Evo root!! My phone shipped with 2.2 already installed so I couldnt root :(

Running Smart Shortcuts on 2.2 Evo and I love it. Sure beats the stock boring folders plus its really easy to label apps into multiple folders.

Idk about DolphinHD, I just tried it out and seemed a bit slower than the stock browser. Guess Ill stick to the stock one for now.

@Tom4Surfing: I just tried orb this weekend. Pretty nifty except for the 10 dollar app fee. But they do have the free web version where you can log into and see your files as well.

I also like Transdroid to check on my torrents at home. Torrent-fu is also good but I had trouble setting up.

I love swype! After learnin how to use it and teaching all the bad words I couldnt imagine typing without it. Even had a typing contest with my brother going on a regular touch kb. Swype won!

@Jeremy Hull: I got nothing against a 700 dollar entry camera. My wife is looking to start photography as a hobby with the kids so is this one works it wont break my bank account. Will have to wait for reviews though.
