I’m personally not a fan of this style-shock at all. I only care about photo-realistic graphics from a technical perspective, so the landscape, while pretty, doesn’t do much for me. Seeing Charmander rendered in cartoony form in this world just... doesn’t work. It doesn’t feel real at all. Even though it’s standing

Give it a shot. I’ve been trying to dig into it again, but it’s a real brick wall if you’re serious about making games in it. Blueprints make starting out and prototyping easier, but ultimately I feel you need to learn/know C++ to get to the point of making actual games. I think that’s why we’re seeing so many of

I would be fine with cartoony, I would be fine without ALL the Pokemon (like the Mystery Dungeon series does, I think), but I want an action game where you play as Pokemon, minus all the trainer business.

Needs a better particle effect for the tail. Unreal can do a lot better than this. The tip of its tail’s supposed to be on fire, but it looks like a bunch of small flame explosions are happening in the general vicinity of the tail.

Looking at the .gif at the top, Sabre has 4 wins to Kan-Ra’s 5.

Not as much of a no-brainer, I’d say. If you’re on a budget and planning to get all your Amazon purchases made tomorrow during that big sale, this is basically throwing some of that money into an investment you won’t see for a while. You kind of have to consider whether it’s worth it to get the ~20% savings on

You go on and on about dipsticks but I’ve never actually seen one work. Sure, it’s probably because my little 97 Saturn is a piece of junk and the only thing I’ve driven for the most part, but the dipstick has consistently failed to provide me with any sort of relevant information. I pull it out, wipe it off, repeat,

‘hood’ has a very different connotation to it today than it did back then. If that wasn’t their intent then that’s okay; that part of the comment doesn’t apply in that case.

“You don’t have money but you have enough money buy something to play it on? Where did that come from? House break? Hold up cash? These aren’t Robin hoods...just hoods.”

“So cheating in games is justified as long as I’m having fun, got it.”

Story: The concept for the world is insane. On the human scale, it really feels like they’re barely keeping up in a losing war against an encroaching enemy. On the larger scale, there’s some serious shit going down which absolutely sounds apocalyptic. It’s very mysterious, very intriguing and handled pretty well, IMO.

So... Ezreal’s Q (the ability that has the shortest cooldown) can be made so powerful you can snipe multiple champs for about half their health, through walls and everything... and this competitive game which people are actually building careers off of isn’t doing anything to stop users from abusing that to get ahead?

I keep hearing good things about this game, but I really don’t see myself getting through it. Let’s be real here - I’ve tried to get through most of the numbered FF games, many of them I’ve retried on multiple occasions (got halfway through 8 like three separate times) and even though those games *aren’t* in a genre

Uh okay well...

I use a smaller case (not quite console-size, but looks very console-like and uses Mini ITX) and it’s very nice having that smaller footprint under my desk. I was pretty sad seeing there were so unreasonably few options for Mini ITX cases that didn’t just look like cubes or whatever. I’ll always prefer a PC case with

I’ll wait for Mighty No. 9 to hit before I make any conclusions. I got a bit swept up in the hype at first but the game hasn’t really looked all that appealing to me since I saw the dashing mechanic. I personally prefer a pure and simple shooting and platforming style challenge, and don’t see how the dashing thing

Right, because hair is supposed to look like a bowl of noodles made babies with a pit of spikes.

Ew, they both taste the same though. And neither compares to a decent Dr. Pepper, root beer or sarsaparilla.

You’re missing the point just like OP. Literally ALL this game is right now is a bunch of marketing speak. “Open-world” is so common these days it’s almost a meaningless term, and as hundreds of bad games on Steam show, it’s not an indicator of quality/fun either. All you have to go off of is a bunch of industry

I try telling GG supporters (the ones with half a brain anyway) to start up a new, solid movement with very clear and stated goals and hierarchy, but nobody seems to care to do so. It’s all a giant fight over who said what.
