This is one of those characters I would have NEVER guessed they'd release, but damn if the dog isn't the best thing ever. I couldn't help but do some terrible fan art right away.

I posted the same video but you beat me to it by 3 minutes. I'm pretty sure this was featured here before, and unlike the video in this article, this one actually HAS a premise. Or at least holds to it.
This was overall a very lazy video. Slap a few text effects and images on top of a standard Brutal Doom e1m1 playthrough and you're done.
That was pretty awful as a parody. It wasn't any different from standard Brutal Doom, and it didn't bring up any good points. Still looks fun, still looks like Brutal Doom. No overuse of cutscenes, no railroading the player along, no waiting at doors for the NPC to kick them open, or to tell you to kick them open,…
Kyogre and Groudon's mega abilities seem highly unbalanced. Correct me if I'm wrong, but...
Last year. Maybe this is to make up (slightly) for the intense disappointment of our reward being just a choice of a free game that we could have bought already anyway...
Check your spam folder, maybe? I know mine got tucked into my 'bulk emails' folder so I would have totally missed it if I hadn't seen this article.
It's possible to transfer things over, I think, but you will need to keep in mind that there's a more involved effort than just simply logging into your account on the new one. I would look it up just to be sure.
Okay, I'll bite. You're literally the first person to even allude to complaints that exist outside the roster. What are these horrible decisions?
It's been a while since I played, but I don't remember the class selection part. Was that bit in the character customization screen? Might I have missed it accidentally and gotten put in a default class or something?
At what point in ME1 do these abilities become unlocked? I remember putting like 15-20 hours or so into the game before I quit, and it was 100% guns all the way. Everything in the game was there to upgrade or enhance guns or armor one way or another. There were only a few skills, to my knowledge, that did anything…
What exactly does this deal mean for them? What could Square Enix offer to a game that's already funded?
I suppose it would be, if this Gameboy was of great personal worth to someone.
Have you seen the videos of pranks gone wrong, where the person's first reaction upon having some dude dressed up in a scary outfit jumping out at them is to throw a punch at their face hard enough to knock them right out? This is not an entirely unusual or unheard-of situation.
If there is no legitimate evidence that this harassment took place and there is evidence that any claimed harassment is fake, then by all means. You make it sound like, in that case, we SHOULD condone death threats? Pretty sure my point still stands even if she did orchestrate a fake response to get the media…
In the last week I've written at length on this. It's an extremely pervasive issue and not one I think we can EVER really "fix" but we CAN educate people and stop a lot of them from participating in this 'be the biggest piece of shit possible because you're a petty, vindictive asshole' contest.
Let's say Phil Fish says something stupid, and you respond by actually, literally sending him death threats? To the point where the police get involved because you went to the lengths to get a whole campaign going against him for saying something stupid and leaked out his phone number and physical address, so now all…
They can't set an example with their games. What we're talking isn't about violence and diversity, it's about harassment and making a bigger problem out of a small one. When people openly attack someone online (or worse, make death threats) we shouldn't stand by and accept that it's happening. We need to let those…
There has been so much hate. So many angry words, so many accusations, over...what? Video games? Women in video games? People who write about video games?
I wrote an extensive post about this on Tumblr today. This is definitely an attitude that NEEDS to change.
