Who says you'd ever notice the effects? The reason this is still going on is because it hasn't yet caused a massive catastrophe.

Did you ever play the older games, though? Have you gotten to the paywalls or ran into any other issues with the game? It sounds like a well-loved series and this iteration has been almost universally hated by its fans.

Great, but time waters aren't just a dime a dozen these days - they're free, and available in near limitless quantity. If quality isn't a concern of yours for your time-wasting gameplay, then you can easily go download enough apps to spend the next 5 years solid playing shitty games for free.

Disappointed they never bothered to list out all the animators in timestamps in the description or anywhere else. (as far as I can see anyway)

Brutal Doom makes a lot of sense, though, as a logical evolution of the series. It's always been high-speed, high-intensity action with no holding back on the gore, so really I don't feel like the mod's creator really did a lot of "design" work in that sense. It was mostly about tweaking that old engine in order to

I found it quite enlightening, but now I find myself second-guessing a lot of my memories. It's kind of hard to live with the idea that maybe you actually vividly remember something completely wrong!

Now, there's a lot about this paragraph that is kind of gross. As our sister site Jezebel says, Temkin is basically "employing the tropes of rape culture in his own defense, even while wrapping himself in the language of social justice and positioning himself as a good feminist." Nevermind the non-apology (if it was

Wait.. I was totally under the impression these were both the same game.

I don't think there's much of a distinction between those choices. The Chozo didn't NEED to be little pet things. There's no real reason to change those things. Maybe Samus isn't using an arm cannon at all. That just looks like a gun where the handle is concealed inside it.

And you're not questioning turning Mother Brain into some brain head dude? Or the Furby Chozo there? Or the Metroid with giant eyes and mouth where neither should be?

I think what excites me the most here is the alternate characters as costumes.

That's something that really stood out to be about this game. I mean, I don't know a lot about DW but I've seen footage of a few of them and they just looked muddled and messy. Nothing really stood out, not the enemies, not the main antagonists, not their animations... but in this game everything is clear, and there's

Yup, it's basically a new Deer Hunter with a better skin over it. If you've played DH2014 you basically played this. Except that I am noticing that larger marks actually have some MECHANICS to them, which is surprising. In DH2014, the hardest thing they could throw at you is "look at that scary bear! Ooo spooky, now

Pink Yoshi for life!

It's always fun to open that up and look at the nice blank spot that is Idaho.

In the old version you were missing a lot, but I must admit even then it surprised me how far along it was. At this point you're still missing some of the PC's more recent content, but by the looks of it, overall with this update you won't be missing out on a lot!

Is the game really a Dark Souls clone, though? I haven't seen gameplay yet but I know it's on mobile and I can pretty much guarantee that being stuck with touchscreen and maybe tilt controls means this game can't possibly be PROPERLY mimicking Dark Souls. You would need way too many on-screen buttons and prompts, and

The guy with the Pikachu avatar defending Nintendo is probably the most likely to be a Nintendo fan, yes.

You're probably right, there's no way that the velocity needed to make that distance without gravity kicking in would have also surely launched the vehicle through the window. As far as I can tell now, it looks like the front got a decent boost into the air as the vehicle was slowed by the first impact and it came

That must have been one scary crash... and by the looks of it, at pretty high speed, too.
