I think if I were you I'd be more worried about the fact that I'm about 3 decades behind in my understanding of modern technology, and that's only the mainstream stuff.

Did you know people can lie about their personal beliefs on the internet just to see how others would react?
This certainly looks unique in some ways, but it's not Maplestory to me. Sure, to me, Maplestory is one hell of a dirty name and it represents some pretty awful and grindy gameplay, but I recognize the things it did well and what kept me playing... the good stuff was almost always tied to the fact that it was a…
Yeah, I have to wonder what was going through their heads when they put out a game that's so clearly garbage...
Yup, I remember spending 10 hours at a time to level up once in the forest of golems back in the day, trying to reach 3rd job. I eventually made 120 not long after 4th job came out, and I ended up at 151 Paladin before I quit. By then, they had improved the leveling curve and I was getting 1-2 hour level ups on my…
Trickster was alright. I was a little confused by its halfway-furry thing going on with the character classes having animal ears and tails. The game had a number of issues that eventually drove me away from it, but I don't remember what they were.
The combat in Maplestory is entirely skill-driven. Or it was back when I played it. You started out with normal attacks (there's a normal attack button which is promptly never used once you get your first attack skill) and instead of being a set of combo attacks or anything interesting, it's the same swing, randomized…
Not a fan of the style, but also it just looks like a simplified Terraria which is played online by default. There's a real lack of color and contrast there, based on the trailer, and a lack of feedback to actions which makes everything appear very muddled and confusing. It doesn't appear to be as well-made overall as…
I was around for at least a couple major overhauls. I started around the first anniversary and stopped playing some... 5-6 years ago. Back then they had Arans, Evans (the dragon guys? Honestly was quite disappointed they didn't just let us play as the dragon :P) and the hero classes based on the original 5 (well, 4…
Of course. Has anyone ever seen an instance of use of the free-to-play model which actually ENHANCED the fun of a game? Sure as hell didn't come from limiting your gameplay to energy bars and paying for temporary cheat codes to continue right from where you fail, that's for sure.
Mewtwo's a bigger fag. Look at those faggy fingers of his. Ew.
It's a good thing to have more diversity in the cast. Not a lot of muscular characters in the lot.
Really not sure about this...
I can't help but feel he's looking at this from a position of too much doom and gloom. He's right in a very big way, but I think his outlook on the situation is a dark one. Good games tend to get plenty of deserved praise. The bar is rising for what's expected out there now, and you can't just throw together an…
Step into your own 4K future with over $100 off Samsung's already-affordable UHD display. We've seen this at $600 on Amazon a few times, and it always sells out quickly. [Samsung 28" 4K Display, $597]
Microtransactions would be sensible if:
Of all the things on this webpage you could be applying your anger toward, this is the least useful one.
I'm with you on that one. It's a real waste of potential, especially given the fact that we've seen Nintendo play around with Zelda as a competent, capable heroine in her own right at times. It's shone through on several occasions, but never been given the limelight it deserves.
To be honest, I haven't used mine a lot. I got it mainly as a replacement for my broken Wii, and I've played about as many old Wii games as new Wii U ones. I only even have a few for the system, one of which is Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which I already had for quite a while on 3DS.
I have a lot of faith in VR. I have yet to try a headset myself but I can't wait to do so. Hell, if you know the character that represents me (my name and my icon), he's basically the epitome of what VR could be. I'm so on board with the idea that I personify it. VR is probably the most exciting thing in the world to…
