You guys need to do something about the comments down here. All the top comments are still from about a year ago. Most of the ones I see were posted Christmas Eve last year. Meaning you're digging up year-old arguments to re-kindle a flame war based on ancient posts with old opinions based on outdated facts.

Okay, let's go with your example then.

I personally can't wait for that bubble to burst, to be honest. I don't mean to rain on the parade of anyone who enjoys making or playing those kinds of games, but considering how ridiculous the budgets and expectations for AAA games were last generation and how this generation has only beefed up the graphics and the

Well let's look at it this way: Naughty Dog did awesome with Jak and Daxter, but at this point it seems like they're permanently stuck to realism now. Back on PS2 they totally rocked a cool world with some sweet characters and unique style, but now they're pushing the boundaries on... what else, realism. Sure you

It would be funny if you knew what I was doing right now (3D modeling) and what I've been spending the last couple years spending most of my free time doing (making video games) because I'm well aware of what it takes to make something realistic.

To me this is more of an excellent reminder that, despite all the amazing graphics tech these guys have at their fingertips and their expertise in using it, all they try to do is meekly attempt to make a photo-realistic game.

Yeah that does seriously suck. I mean, how often do publishers even go through with using that IP ever again? It really doesn't benefit them to sit around claiming an IP as their territory without doing a damn thing with it.

You know, it would be nice if those big publishers could take up some indie teams and help make these games a reality by giving them not only funding but also the resources to make their games better. Sure a game like Batman: Arkham Whatever The Hell Else is a surefire money-maker but when it costs so much that you

Ohmygod this wasn't actually canned? *fist pump* hell yeah!!

I had one of those, too! I never had non-carpet to use it on so it wasn't ever all that useful. Fun little thing though. :P

They're not actually in the Mii Maker. Those accessories are in Streetpass Plaza only. So you can dress up your Mii there, but sadly those dressings only count for anything in those Streetpass Plaza games and apps. I wish they could show up anywhere but Nintendo didn't build the functionality into the Miis themselves.

Easy, just get creative with the tools they give you.

I hate to say it but they're kind of right about gamers not wanting to exercise.

Can I star this more times?

It's fine to be frustrated with them. Lord knows I am, even as a fan. My favorite Nintendo franchises haven't seen the light of day for two generations (Starfox (not remakes I mean), F-Zero, 2D Metroid games) and they seem more interested in putting out more Mario and Wii Sports/Fit/Party/etc games instead of actually

I would have disagreed a generation ago, but now that everyone's forgotten about the Wii U and the other consoles are putting up just as much fuss before letting you game as you'd usually get on a PC, there's really not much need for them anymore.

That's kind of the point, though. Honestly I think the only reason they bothered to show anything was just to get their brand back out there and be noticed for a second. Because they use Nintendo Directs and their own ways to show off new stuff and make announcements, not big stage shows and trade shows and stuff.

Wow, Double XP does one of the most overused and dead jokes in the history of game humor (hurr durr wall chicken) and you're going on about the other comics?

I'm personally really hoping for some F-Zero, Starfox and Metroid action. Hell, on Wii U or 3DS, either would be fine. But we haven't seen the former two in much too long, and DKCR has already hit Wii and 3DS fairly recently. It's hard to get excited about another sequel so fresh out of one that reinvented the series

Dude if this keeps up I'm just going to say screw it and start pronouncing it "yif" dammit.
