Knights of Pen and Paper. Gotta check that one out. Stylish pixel RPG that plays off of the book & dice role playing tradition.

Angry feminist Velma from Venture Bros. would have a number of issues with this photo shoot.

So the guy at 0:58 is supposed to Ron Swanson right?

Looks like I'll be grabbing Escape Vektor at 50% off. I've heard good things. Has anyone played it that can confirm or deny its goodness? I'm determined to stretch my $30 SMT4+FEA credit as far as I can.

Oh I know. And Vigo's soulful delivery. So many feelings.

I don't need convincing, just the money to buy one. 2 Platinum games and a title from Monolith Soft are more than enough to sell me on any one console. Times are just tough right now financially. Really tough. It's hard for me to justify a fresh console, when there's plenty to play on the ones I already own, and I'm

For me, there are 2 LoTR moments that do it without fail:

Wow. That's cool news. I somehow missed that. I'd be very interested in buying those games. They're the kind of titles that scream for limited press launch copies with pack-in goodies.

I'm going to have to go with Hironobu Sakaguchi. The man didn't invent the JRPG, but he certainly played a big (if not the biggest) part in refining its elements into the form that fans most appreciate today. We have this man to thank for the best years of Final Fantasy, and all of the conventions that the series

My thoughts exactly. I especially hope that more MMOs take lessons from GW2s excellent pricing structure. If it's subscription free, it's for me.

I would. Agree with that statement. I'm not really equating GW2s system to parkour. I just think GW2 did alot in terms of introducing kinetic movement and a sense of exploring vertical space to the MMO genre. It was something new, which the new EQ seems to be expanding upon.

I haven't heard of that game. I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the input.

See my response to Arden on that topic:

That's a fair criticism. I probably should have elaborated a bit more in my original comment. I didn't mean to say that GW2 included parkour in the pure sense, but I do think that Arenanet's efforts to put a large focus on movement and adding an Assassin's Creed like focus on vertical space in their exploration laid

I cant' wait for Wildstar. The overall style of it is just so charming. I've been trying to get into the beta, but to no avail.

Thanks for elaborating.

Yeah. I do. Another guy corrected me earlier. I'm rushing to type too much because I'm at work and juggling a bunch of stuff. Thanks for the correction.

Care to explain why not?

Good point. That's a really interesting question. The answer will mean a world of difference.

I'm usually pretty fast to mention GW2 on an MMO article these days. Arenanet did so much to shake up the genre that I think we'll be seeing other teams cull from their work for years to come.
