If this becomes a generic sports website, I. AM. OUT.

Given today’s news, I wanted to voice my appreciation for this post that is decidedly not about sports.

I hate to credit a Hooser but Billy was robbed on that second throw by ghosts.

Let’s not let facts get in the way of the laziest of jokes.

I won't dispute #4, but there's a difference between:

Machine learning is a simple field. You spend a lifetime learning all sorts of complex mathematical techniques, and in the end, KNN always performs best.

She's in the attic!!!

You forgot biathlon:

Everything about Boris Diaw is wonderful. He's a fat, French basketball player who, when he feels like it, can actually play high end defense and bring point forward elements with his great passing. He once successfully replaced Amare in the Seven Seconds or Less Suns. He shut down Lebron James for a bit in the NBA

Now playing

No discussion of Boris Diaw is complete without this clip of Bill Walton shoehorning him into a reference to one of Beethoven's symphonies

Diaw is fantastic. (He guarded LeBron!) He had a few sequences in the GSW series (one in, I think, game 1 OT to set up a Green three pointer) that were just wonderful. And now that he's going grey, that much better.

Down 12 with 6 min left? And you've already hit 8 3's? Yeah, I think most coaches would be okay with him shooting that.

It's there because they bought it.

Oh, fun. I get to trot out some Tolkien-lore:

Is it you? It's you, right?

I think it's preferable to the story arc of series 6 - I never thought I'd say this, but there was too much of it and that resulted with a serious lack of good episodes I'd like to watch on their own, with the exception of The Doctor's Wife, which A) I loved, and B) had nothing to do with the series wide story arc.
