Weird? That a joke? Avi and/or divx has been overwhelmingly the most popular format for ripped films since the 90s.

Well you can't buy a jailbreakable apple tv new, so.
It doesn't play divx or avi.
Oh yeah, just saw that other article .
You can't stream music or films locally on the ps4? Bleurrgh. Can you on the Xbox? I don't use a console for either right currently but hoped to consolidate in the future.
King George? Try half the home counties. Hitler only held off an invasion because he thought England would side with him rather than fight.
Extraordinary. I can only assume you live somewhere different to me. The notion that Cromwell was outright evil is just not taught where I live (England) and that the view is just post-restoration revisionism. Certainly I was brought up being told that Cromwell was the father of democracy (only later did I find he was…
History not a strong point in your schooling then?
Go ask the Persians about Alexander the Great. If you're on the wrong side of a war you inevitably have an adverse view. But you can't claim that every historical figure that went to war was inherently evil.
I wonder how history will view the Wii - was the it the console that made gaming accessible to all, in a similar way to how the Playstation (one) first made gaming cool to people over 20?
How is Oliver Cromwell in this list? Granted Drogheda was pretty horrible, but (some) historians are of the view that this was par for the course in warfare of the time. More important (imho) is that he was responsible for pretty much the biggest surge towards democracy that ever took place in Britain. He was also…
Hmm. Am I becoming jaded? Doesn't really impress me that much. Not sure if thats the rig or the game design.
Agreed, particularly given the lifespan of these consoles.
Agreed. I spent the last two weeks researching for a new gpu and frankly this is the best bang per buck card out there. Its a new card which means there won't be many users who have one, and many wont have caught up on the fact that this has probably replaced the mid range Nvidia cards as your best bet. It's also not…
ok couple of points. Firstly I have a PC and PS3, and no intention to buy either console for the time being.
Not sure I see a difference proportionate to the increased grunt that the ps4 apparently has. Certainly it's not 50% better (whatever that would mean) Indeed I would probably err on the side of the Xbox in this vid. That said I understand it's running at a lower res.
That's a good point actually. Now you point it out, Nvidia are bound to release lots of new devices to take advantage of the stuff in their new cards.
I think I read there will be steam machines for $100 or less that wont be capable of playing major games, but will do streaming.
