It was better than riding a horse - cept you probably did about 100 times more sailing than the horse riding in OoT, so its hard to compare.

Im replaying at the moment. Sailing point to point is fine. Whats tedious is tracking down the many bits and pieces that you plunder from the sea, trying to stop dead on top of them before pulling them up - then missing by a yard, turning round, missing by another year and so on ad nauseum. That gets old.
Good article, and great points about keeping their eye on the ball. I have an Apple TV, and while it does exactly what I bought it for, it does nothing more and feels very much like a forgotten device. I was slightly surprised to see it even was supported on it.
The new Mac Pro would be more impressive.
And yet iTunes is pretty much the most successful thing to happen in the music industry since CDs, taking Apple to stratospheric success. the number of people moaning is nominal compared to the number of sales overall. Indeed its iTunes very success that is causing MS to gamble on the Xbox as a video consumption…
On browsers, just to remind all there was a tip on LH a while ago that ive always found useful, which is to keep Opera installed with the Turbo mode turned on, even if you dont use it as your daily. Then if you get slowness due to poor bandwidth you can temporarily switch to Opera with their serverside image squeezing…
You need to check your language. "Spit in gamer's faces" is puerile and hyperbolic.
Thank heavens for a little balance.
I'm still interested in the new Xbox. Im just keep keeping my head down while the self-appointed guardians of hardcore gaming (whatever that is) are attacking anyone who says otherwise.
Yep, im on it. I thought it was a gimmick, but then it just clicked. Now i want it on all my devices.
Yeah MM's dungeons were good, but collecting those fairies was a total nightmare...
One other thing - fire up the Windows 8 start screen on a 27" iMac and your eyes will probably fall out...
Im on a crazed Zelda run at the moment, having completed OoT, TP and MM back to back and am playing Windwaker at the mo. SS is next.
I have to say that while I wouldn't buy an Apple computer myself - I love building computers, a Hackintosh is a fun build & you get better bang for buck when you build your own - I now always recommend iMacs to friends and family unless there is some specific reason why not. They cost more, but they last longer and…
Kotaku isnt the place for such subtle conversations, but I think that the idea of moving from ownership to licensing is already in full tilt in the media industr and will happen in the games industry too.
I dont get this one. I cant think of the circumstances where you would regularly be needing to work in iWork, but only had access to Windows PC? Once in a blue moon perhaps, but surely thats it. Am I missing something?
Great E3 for Sony. Trouble is the games they've showed don't excite me as much as the Xbox One's. Think Ill wait 6 months before getting either console and see how the library pans out.
Hard drive size is a total non-issue for me. I never have more than 2 or 3 games on the go, and few people are going to use a PS4 to store their music and film collection. They're far more likely to stream from a Mac/PC/Nas box or stream from some online service such as Netflix. As long as it can do that, no problem.
One thing I would pay for on my ipad is a better keyboard. not so much the layout, rather the error correction is abysmal (why would it change "better" To "begetter"?) Typing out these posts have been a total chore. Im sure I read the keyboard had a new look - any other details?
Certainly. My mums suffering with a galaxy ace at the moment. For her the iPhone is the perfect choice when upgrade comes round.
