I've seen it quoted 303...not sure if it's conversion error by somebody or what. Either way in the configuration in this car, it would be more. A big single turbo on a 2J would be well over 335.

Also if you go by Wikipedia, least powerful DB7 is 300, most powerful 2jzgte 320.

Doubt it's less powerful with that turbo. Also way better tuning potential.

I don't know...looks like it would fit to me. If not notbin a nice little speed bubble wouldn't fix.

So you'd put a less powerful engine into a Supra just so you could run around and tell your friends it had an Aston Martin motor? That makes perfect poser sense.

I have to disagree with you a little bit...I'm more in the camp of wrong torque and wrong material. You see a lot of second time replacements when you go with a stock material head gasket. Even with ARP's, composite is a bad choice for a steel block aluminum head turbo motor. However I will concede thatthat evidence

You should teach whoever you're working with about layout board and go jacks then...waiting for paint to dry is crazy!

Actually we normally put down cardboard 'layout board' to prevent tire marks while moving the car. I've never seen anyone repaint a cyc floor during a shoot....that's just a complete waste of time. Ad agency's do love craft service, but they don't need paint drying as an excuse to hang out there.

It's kind of un-loved...but one of my personal favorites...The HR31 GT Passage Turbo:

Surprisingly, shifting with your left hand isn't that bad...seriously the windshield wiper/turn signal thing is a way bigger problem.

If you get pulled over, it's definitely massively confusing to the CHP. I got pulled over for no plate (they didn't see my temp tag).

A shady Florida importer brought in two earlier this illegally.

Mazda USA owns that car...they drive it on manufacturer plates...

You're better off to source from Japan yourself or go with a US importer...you pay import fees and duty twice of it goes to Canada first.

Mazda keeps that one around to tease us...I drooled all over it at JCCS last year.

If you're in the US, you'll have to wait one more year...

How's the acceleration? Is all the power on the top end?

Not totally sure, but I think the GPS came out in '93.

I love the Eunos Cosmo...I'm waiting patiently. Next year you'll be able to bring in 1990's under 25 year exemption, and 1993's under show or display and 21 year EPA exemption...
