OK, I played with the configurator.

I bought the Cayman over a 911. It happens.
Paging Chris Harris. Mr. Harris to the driver’s seat, please.
Yes. But it just doesn’t provide enough juice to be meaningful. It’ll add something like 5 miles a day on a sunny, summer day. In winter, it may power the stereo.
Sadly, this is what a $12K 911 looks like these days. Not justifying it, but it’s the truth.
This was clearly them trying to attract the US market. You don’t see them calling up local retired drivers at other tracks. No Rubens in Brazil, no Kaz in Japan. They’ve been encouraged by F1 to dial up local flavor in the US.
Right... instead, Kimi went to the amazing, globe-trotting world of the NASCAR Truck Series... wait, what?
Hey, let’s not forget Nigel Mansell, either. The reigning F1 champion came to CART!
Isn’t H2 from Natural Gas pretty dirty without some sort of carbon capture? Why do that vs. just burning the methane directly? Or is CO2 capture viable at this point?
“ It’s about 1/5th the size of an air-cooled standard Beetle’s trunk, if that helps a very specific set of readers understand the volume here.”
Is that top photo from the Old Joliet Prison (Hi, Jake!)? If so, you were about 2.5 miles from my house.
Better to be lead driver at Alpha Tauri than second fiddle elsewhere is my guess.
Correct. These are businesses that will presumably exist by 2030. Which is a long way out...
So, what was up with that White GMC Terrain (or whatever it was)? That idiot should have moved out of the way. Why would you say “Oh, let me back up 12 inches. There, that should do it.” I’d have noped my way outta there.
While I agree the Supra isn’t pretty, I wouldn’t call it homely. It’s so over-styled, with so many fake vents and pumped up features, it’s not “plain.” Compared to the Z8, it’s all puffed up lips, wide hips, needless details and oh so shouty.
Take your star (even though I just drove my air-cooled Beetle to the store just an hour ago...).
Next you are going to try to tell us that the energy required to heat a cubic centimeter of water one degree is like a calorie or something...
You, sir, are a hoopy frood.
Cam Binder was an IRL driver, if I recall. His name just sounds like a car part. “Did you torque the cam binder?”
While many are talking about the obvious (digital vs. paper manuals), the REAL driver behind app-based solutions is data.
