Yes.  But it just doesn’t provide enough juice to be meaningful.  It’ll add something like 5 miles a day on a sunny, summer day.  In winter, it may power the stereo.

Sadly, this is what a $12K 911 looks like these days.  Not justifying it, but it’s the truth. 

This was clearly them trying to attract the US market. You don’t see them calling up local retired drivers at other tracks. No Rubens in Brazil, no Kaz in Japan.  They’ve been encouraged by F1 to dial up local flavor in the US.

While I agree the Supra isn’t pretty, I wouldn’t call it homely. It’s so over-styled, with so many fake vents and pumped up features, it’s not “plain.” Compared to the Z8, it’s all puffed up lips, wide hips, needless details and oh so shouty.
