In my experience, it’s enough to just have corrosion from the battery present, combined with the ground located near the battery to cause problems. The electrical activity across the dirt/corrosion can exacerbate rust formation. It doesn’t have to be a leaky battery. This the same reason why salt covered dirty cars

That junk in the trunk look has been building for a while now...

Yep...  they screwed up the “reborn” GTO so badly they dropped even that name after one model cycle and called the new one a G8 (which wasn’t a bad car).

I’ll disagree that Pontiac was great. The Grand AMs and Grand Prix were awful, sub-rental caliber cars. Anything from the 80's was awful.  Yes, even the F-Bodies.  Near the end, they got their crap together. Too little, too late.

Part of the issue with the name changes was a total lack of positive brand equity in any of the name plates. The Lumina bombed so spectacularly as a model that the names Monte Carlo and Impala were dusted off for the 2 and 4 door versions of the Lumina. The Cavalier had to be renamed the Cobalt (there was no going

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. If you have a $500 to $1000 deductible on your insurance, winter tires might be cheaper than your insurance deductible! Especially if you find the smallest, cheapest wheel/tire combo or stock take-off wheel from Craigslist that will fit. Hell, I can find $500 winter tire/wheel

We’re just over the border in IL. My wife daily drives a BMW 545i 6-speed.

A month ago I had my “first snow of the season” experience for this year.

Good question!

Plus, the trucker KNEW he was going to be tight as he went to the center of the span each time looking for a few extra inches. Screw him, he was negligent and knew it.

Hey... is your Aurebesh backwards? What the GNK is saying in his thought cloud in the image makes sense, but I think the characters are all reversed...

I know, that’s just what grabbed me at first...

Don’t forget the tailgate mounted spare for extra length in the shadow.

True, but it isn’t necessarily to scale. I don’t know, just thinking that was what it was.  Like the shadow of Vader in the Episode 1 poster behind Anakin.

Um... the shadow is of a 1st Gen Bronco.

I went for the easy math and the first photo I could find. Could be a 10-, 20-, 30-speed or a 40 speed for all I know without looking at the front...

Plus, it avoids accidentally naming a car the “Axelfire 9000" in one country, which translates as “Creepy Uncle McTouchy 9000" in Eastern Bratislaviastan.

Wow, that’s amazing. It’s similar to how the speed control worked on my snowblower (taking power off of spinning disc either on the edge or near the axis), but likely can handle more than 5hp!

Think of a 21-speed mountain bike. A series of different gear sizes up front (3 rings) and on the rear wheel (7 rings) yield 21 possible ratios.

Once it has removed any extraneous money from your wallet, it forces you to drive in a more economical manner since you can no longer afford a fuel stop.
