We had similar issues. Our HOA at the time was comprised entirely of older folks, some of whom were busy-bodies. They didn’t understand why a married couple with a dog needed 5 cars... They thought we had 5 people living in our place.

We had to lay a bunch of gravel in ours... 3 miles might be a bit expensive, though.

Yep, that was us. We had been living in Minneapolis. We bought a “Garage Condo” for our cars. But, it was a pain the ass to drive 45 minutes to work on a project. Or, if you were doing something at home, just to get a tool.

Back in the day, I had a Greddy turbocharged EG civic. The torsen I put in there was worth every penny. Took the car on twisty roads, it made all the difference, and that was with only 145FWHP. My buddy’s Integra GSR couldn’t avoid spinning the inside wheel. It’s worth it, and I’m happy to see Honda putting in an

No matter how many cars I’ve owned... I’ve never used the steering wheel radio controls. Maybe it’s because when I learned to drive, those things didn’t exist. But, for me, I’d rather a wheel devoid of any buttons except the horn.

All the 986 and early 987 Caymans/Boxsters do that. It is tragic, truly. It’s so bad there are aftermarket switches available.

My wife and I are walking in to a brewery. She’s wearing a t-shirt with a BMW 2002 on it. As we enter, a guy sitting at the corner of the bar asks “Cool shirt, do you have a 2002?”

Jordan - I was at Daytona, and watched the impressive win (nice hip check by your brother at the end). Have you ever seriously looked at other series? Not that we don’t love you in sports cars and prototypes, but what are your thoughts on single seaters?

We do a couple of races a year depending on time/budget. It could be an away F1 race, the USGP, 24 Hours of Daytona (this year), the Monterrey Historics (last year)... just depends on time/budget.

I have to say... UncleWalty might be right. I know a few people (casual fans) who have said “Hmmm, sure, I’d go to Indy” on whim merely to see Alonso. We’re in Chicago, so it’s an easy drive to do the morning of...

I’m actually reassembling a 1991 CRX for just this reason. Two seats, big hatch... It’s the perfect commuter vehicle for when I’m not driving the racecar. Or the other racecar. Or the Lemons car.

Oh, yes. I agree (and I was there in Melbourne, the crowd’s excitement was unreal during the race).

Actually, they do limit flow as well.

All of the carbon fiber and titanium may look out of place on the Jeep, though.

However, if you are planning on keeping that BMW past the warranty term, you may want to consider oil changes more frequently than 15,000 miles and transmission/Differential fluid changes more often than “Lifetime.”

Sorry to hear that’s how it went... Fortunately, M50/M52 engines liter Cragislist. Spin some wrenches, get back out there!

They are aircooled!

I feel like the Japanese brands are willing to play the long game on some models when they are unknown. For instance, at launch the Lexus LS400 was somehting like 60% of the price of a Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7-Series. Over time, the prices rose to the same level.

I’m really glad it was in the UK so the cops didn’t beet him.

You aren’t insane. I do this all the time...
