Oh, god. No. Never. This is awful looking. Like your drunk Uncle Larry, whom you just want to tell him to put it back in his shorts after proposing that everyone gets in the hot tub.
I’ve never driven one, I tend to prefer manuals anyway. I’d be open to trying it, though. And, it seems when I hit Cars.com or the like, I still see them higher than $20K. But, I’ll keep looking.
I don’t think you need to do much to an E60 to get over 200mph. But, I haven’t seen one (that’d I’d seriously consider) for less than $25K US. But, they are getting close and the SMG is very unloved. So, hopefully soon! So, temptingly soon...
I’ve never done over 150, even with the limiter removed. Since ours is technically my wife’s car, her in the passenger seat is its own kind of top speed limiter.
An E39 M5 with a little boost should do it. Stock, it is geared for it. Pick up a well-used one for <15K, bolt on blower for $5K, done!
Dan Simmons also used it in Illium/Olympos. Coke-can sized nukes using equipment originally designed for a Coke bottling plant.
Thanks for explaining a multi-variable problem that everyone deals with (but are oblivious to) when they fill up their tank.
Do you also like pop-up headlights?
Thank you, Tyler.
Thank you for the clarity. Not to make this any more muddy than it really is (and it's cluster-rific right now), but I was the impression that the low prices on oil ALSO helped screw Putin and Russia's dependence on gas/oil exports for much-needed liquidity as well.
Can I add two to this list:
That's what my mom always says...
Not sure I buy this argument.
The Ronal Bear. Should have been OEM on certain New Beetles.
Swing on by, I'll let you drive mine.
Considering that's the Chicago suburbs being nuked... um?
These cars with this mileage tend to be in the $35K-$40K range all day long. The wrap can be de-wrapped. The power will be addictive. I can do my own maintenance. I'll vote NP.
