Oh god this!!!! Yes I was my mother's best little friend who she told everything to! This in turn made me feel responsible for her and my siblings. Fuuck..... I'm still trying to undo that damage. It's insane you can't have your own life. Everything is so entwined it's hard to have a separate life.
