1977 Mercury Grand Marquis- Because I couldn't have been brought home from the hospital in anything less than a "Champagne Beige", Brown Naugahyde clad luxo-boat. Spent countless hours in the ginormous back seat on the annual road trips. My dad bought a 1987 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park Station Wagon, That would

I swear I saw this car on TV a couple of weeks ago. There was a "My Classic Car" marathon on Speed. The guy that had it was vintage racing it.

Stay classy Camaro. Not a femullet, wife beater or Def Leppard CD anywhere on the stand.

@Snabb-SAAB: Seems like a lot of love for the W123 diesels on here. One of these days I'll add one to the collection. I've had similar service experiences with my wife's R107. The service department treats us like we own a new S-Class, not a 30 y/o 450 SLC. I wish we had had good experiences with the MBCA. Our section

Tough Choice for me. I'd say my best overall was a 1981 Datsun D210 Wagon. It was given to my brother, who gave it to me because he didn't need it. Idled about 2000 rpm, was chalky white with a blue interior, steelies for wheels,no heat or A/C (didn't work), odometer stopped around 150,000 miles. But, it was a 5 speed

-Finish putting my E30 back together and either sell it or fix it up for SCCA D-Stock Autocross.

'82 Cutlass Supreme- T-Tops off for headroom!

Please tell me the electricals weren't made by Lucas.

I think I have my new post-Med School career plan now! Wonder if LeMons needs its own Doc?

How long will it take for the aeroricers to show up?

@Nürburgring: Varsity Jalop: if you feel like making a trip to Louisiana, I've got an '87 325i, 5 speed-4 door I'm needing to get rid of for probably cheaper than you've found. I'd feel better sending it away to a fellow Jalop, I'd know its going to a good home!

...Wow, a "Da Yoopers" video and a Kinky Freidman thread in less than 2 months time....I thought I was the only one with that kinda taste in music.....Time to dig through the boxes in the garage and find "Yoop It UP!" on tape.

NP all the way. You could pay that much for a non-convertible W123 in good shape. I vould vant to zee its papers though...No records, I'd give 'em 3500 for it

Judges say: 8.2, 9.0, 7.6

My father was a die hard Mercury Man! We ordered a 1987 Colony Park LS, full leather, pop-up seats in the back, every option possible. Even at 10, I still went "umm, Dad? Isn't that just a Ford LTD with different badges"? I loved that car....won a parking lot burnout contest at 16, blasting AC/DC out of the stereo! We
