I think that scene with the Hound and Arya is very symbolic and foreshadowing of what will eventually happen with Littlefinger. He'll outmaneuver everyone else with incredibly complicated schemes (essentially Xanatos Gambits) pitting entire kingdoms against each other...and just when he supplies himself with the power…
