Because, unfortunately, *some* people are not going to read between those lines. Or, the worser of two evils, they won’t care and try to anyways.

And what get them from Walmart? Hell no. Everytime I see a Walmart the only thing I can do is keep driving as that is the only thing that prevents me from burning those shitty places to the ground, maybe just maybe if they ever cared about their employees I would go there again. Sincerely an ex-Walmart worker.
Save them for Fallout 5...coming 2021.
my gawd. let the kid have his moment, stop downplaying a still awesome situation. no need to be so negative :-P
Bingo. It’s a lot easier to follow and respect leaders who are well dressed. Also, I think in fiction we often see former nazis as tailors - and if we’re talking nazi inspired, Garak from Deep Space Nine.
Lol, I agree. Nazis at least definitely had style. Practically every evil or fascist empire in fiction takes after them, with the hats and topcoats tailored with a sharp eye. Even Bleach, of all things, has Nazi villains who follow that style!
My thoughts exactly, someone in a hospital bed can see the grand canyon, explore the Amazon , imagine flying round a photorealistic city while you couldn’t move in reality?
Yeah, I don’t get that mentality especially the hate for mobile/handheld gaming.
I have a Wii Fit now, so I obviously can’t argue that. Lacks in games that support it, though.
In the short run we probably will see a “class war” that was similar to the gulf that divided console and PC players in the 1980s and 1990s. For what it’s worth, the Oculus Touch demo was a very social experience, as is Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. I agree that we are seeing mostly shorter experiences right now.…
Only the big three video game manufacturers did something. This is way bigger
I suspect that Nintendo’s statement that so long as VR remains an experience only one person can enjoy, there is no real value in it for gaming purposes, will be true. Everything that we have seen comes across more as tech demos than actual games, and the buy-in price is ridiculous for the average person.
For what it’s worth, I wear glasses and have never really cared for 3D movies, except for rare instances like Avatar. VR is so much better than 3D that I don’t think it is comparable. It is, of course, a lot more expensive, too.
It will be a fad unless companies commit to it. Motion controls failed, not because it sucked (as shown by all of the wonderful things people hacked the Kinect to do) but because there was no commitment to making it work. Wii had to commit, as it was the primary controller. Add ons typically fail: HD-DVD, Sega-CD,…
I watched the show recently and the switch to computers for animation is evident and appaling. I know PBS doesn’t have enough money, what with showing Suze Orman informercials two nights out of the week, but this is sad when our kids can’t enjoy good quality television, from story to production. If you can donate to…
Yeah, Merfish’s videos are a real joy. I am particularly fond of his ones with the whale.
The cute intro of the classic 90s cartoon Arthur is anything but cute when it’s recreated in GTA V’s environment.
Funny enough, the thing that bothered me most about your write up was calling giving Harley MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) “clever,” when that basically IS the thing that would take all agency away from the character. It’s a stupid and contrived explain-away for her psychosis, when in actuality the thing that…
