Ooh, Nintendo AND Switch, how classy!

Suspect we’ll have to wait for a “complete edition” after the DLC plans are complete, but seems like it’s best chance for a real second wind at this point is a well-timed (and executed) PC release.

Inflation.

DotEmu publishes some great work. The Wonder Boy remaster was bad ass, that was one of my faves on the ol Sega console

my first draft was going to be just posting this under a headline

“I didn’t personally care for the story, so here’s how it ends.”

Wow! no spoiler warning about the ending?? Like seriously??

video games (which were let’s not forget meant to be played)

I got your back on Doom 3.  It’s a great game.

I for one am happy Doom Eternal isnt higher up on the list. I tried it recently because I just finished Doom 2016 which I loved. Eternal went the opposite direction I would of liked. It felt more arcadey...cartoony? I dunno how to explain it but it felt a huge step down from 2016. I might give it another shot but as

The pic of it on its side makes it look absolutely terrible. This thing was definitely designed to be upright, then just made to work horizontally any way they could manage.

Maybe it’s just because I’m part of the previous program, but hasn’t your storage library always been divided into games and apps?

Thanks for the clarification.  I completely disagree, but you are entitled to your opinion, as am I.  Regardless, I enjoy reading your work.  Thanks again!

I’m just saying. I wouldn’t call myself a socialist, but unregulated capitalism and pursuit of wealth is the

A Tangential point Joshua was trying to make that this still ignores is that people don’t experience difficulty in the same way.

The easiest way for me to think of it is a competitive game of memory. The whole point of that game would be to overcome the challenge faster than your opponent, no? But consider that one

Not everyone plays games for the same reason (i.e. you might play for the difficulty where others do for the story/atmosphere). And beyond that, an easy mode doesn’t diminish your playthrough. “it’s good because it’s hard” can be said about most games with their difficulty turned up, if that’s your thing. Beyond that

I’m using cheat engine to give unlimited posture and tweaking some of the damage/health. Having way more fun and don’t feel like I’m wasting my time or killing myself on something I do for fun.  Ninja Gaiden Black was a walk in the park compared to some of Sekiro.

I’ve been waiting for the Schreier breakdown of how this fell apart far more than the game itself.
