Have we ever seen a release of this game in some fashion stateside? Seems like it'd be a great fit on the virtual console (if licensing stuff could get figured out).

Seems like they could've added a control option where you press the stylus to the gamepad to see an onscreen cursor on the TV screen, and then you could press a shoulder button (say LZ) to engage the drawing/tapping mechanic. That way you can enjoy the cool visuals in HD on your TV instead of staring at the low res…
DLC is just fine as long as the main game feels like a complete experience without it. If quality DLC is produced that makes a good game have even more content, I'm happy to support that.
Was there something called a Wicked Weekend sale on Xbox this past weekend or something?

Sorry I think I missed this; where's the part about how and why we aged terribly? Was it because we are older now too? Catchy headline, but I don't see the payoff in there.
Let's not forget Joystiq also ditched scores right before shedding its mortal coils.
Only problem is Doom guy didn't carry around medkits - or ammo for that matter (though I guess you could speculate he did since his guns likely couldn't hold the total amount of ammo he had on him). But still, no medkits! :)
Such a massive bummer. That site and Kotaku quickly became my favorites when they launched all those years ago, and made sites like IGN and Gamespot seem like dinosaurs.
This is reportedly a rumor at the moment, at least as reported on Joystiq itself. Hopefully it's not true. This story should probably be updated to reflect that.

The real question here is one of editing. Like a movie, book, song, play, article, blog, meal, etc. editing out aspects that don't significantly add to or enhance an experience/product are typically best left out. It seems that games in general still have some room to mature in this respect (there are great examples…
That's too bad; it was a good (not great) rewards program. The Nintendo digital deluxe program was a hell of a rewards program though!
Very nice that it's cross-buy! I'd love to see a Mario Vs. Donkey Kong more akin to the original on GBA.
Do they run at a higher resolution, or are they still at a blurry 480p? These are still worth a purchase even if you own them on disc if we see an increase in picture quality.
I really enjoyed Shadowrun Returns and Dragonfall, and played them on my iPad. I'd love to back this project, but with no iOS support in the foreseeable future, I'll just have to wait. Hope they do well, and we see this on tablets, sooner rather than later!
Any idea when the new abilities will be made available to everyone who doesn't have the DLC?
On iOS Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars is $2.99, and Thomas Was Alone is $2.99, as well as $25 iTunes credit going for $20 with the code ITUNESGC at Gyft.com :)

The Wii U is finally starting to pick up steam. Let's hope we see it getting the lion's share of attention and support from Nintendo for at least 2-3 more years before it is replaced.

A bit too pricey, but cool nonetheless. That'd be neat to get if it ever goes on sale.
