My completely unrealistic wishlist is for full particle and liquid physics simulations, such as realistic raindrops during rainstorms that actually create puddles and run down surfaces. It’s not important in any way but as a pluviophile it’d be a dream come true.

Very few games get mouths correct. Mostly seen only Sony nail that.

And I play it far, far more than my PC or Switch.

I’ve gotten used to the default background but I do miss my PS4 Fireplace theme. I don’t get the lack of themes as it seems like such an easy way to make a quick buck for Sony. But then I don’t know what goes into hosting them on the PSN servers. Maybe the cost of storage outweighs the $2-3.

Good for you?

Shadow of the Tomb Raider has that in their difficulty options. All climbable objects or environments have this white paint over them but in the difficulty option you could make those marks smaller or turn them off completely.

There’s also the fact that some visual cue are so ingrained into gamer mind that it’s hard to change things up.

There was a game (forgot which one) that experimented with coloring their explosive barrel green to match with the visual style of the game. During playtesting, they quickly found out that either they were

Well that was a confusing and ultimately disappointing title to read. Excited to see silent hill remake footage, but layers of fear was pretty lame and I'm not even sure why it needs a remake at this point. It still looks fine.

Ehh, B4B being worse than L4D is sorta why it cant stand on its own and needs a “roadmap”

L4D is so much simpler than B4B. That simplificity combined with custom modes is infinite on its own

Ahh, this specific collection was given to PS5 owners during the release/launch.

The first thing I saw her in was 24, and she was wonderful. She more than held her own with Sutherland, which is especially impressive given that he’d already inhabited Jack Bauer for six full seasons at that point. It was great to see her pop up in Bosch as well, and she was one of the bright spots in Picard, too.

Respectfully, it would take less than 10 minutes to do some research about the state of the game or the ongoing concerns players have, including but not limited to:
- Advertised content (number of weapons, for example) is missing from the game

Considering that the developer also, among other things, doesn’t think statutory rape should be a thing, and thinks if no violence occurred then it wasn’t rape...yeah, using a Notch quote is right up this garbage human’s alley.

It’s been 60 far longer than 360:era.

And defending statutory rape, yep.

I have no real opinion for or against that price hike (or the game itself), but I just noticed that the developers use a quote from Notch of Minecraft fame and subsequent Twitter infamity as testimonial on the Steam page.

Isn’t this the game from the developer who couldn’t stop whining about cancel culture?

No, I think I understand their point. The demand curve for any normal good is a slope; demand goes up as price goes down. They’ve decided that the revenue under the long tail of the curve isn’t worth their time.

My roster of unplayed games (you call it a backlog, I call it a retirement plan) is in triple digits. I’ve bought exactly two of those games at full price.
