I don’t get the battle royale hype at all. I tried both pubg and fortnite. I won a few games, lost several. After about a week I felt as though I’d seen absolutely everything the game had to offer. I don’t understand the enduring popularity of such a restrictive and gimmicky game format.

No difference

I have a natural inclination toward violence and wanting people to have a physical reminder of their actions.

Whaddya selling?

Exactly one game did inventory management right: Resident Evil 4. Partially because it made equipping yourself into a little puzzle, and partially because there wasn’t that much stuff in the world to pick up in the first place.

That’s a bit unfair. While some of the more complex vehicle and squad controls are indeed...dense, basic infantry stuff isn’t too hard to get a handle on.

Sooooo they could find next of kin to notify of death but NOT find them to notify in jail ..got it

That’s actually a pet peeve of mine: people that leave the factory protective plastic on things. I have a buddy that still has some around the frame of his TV which is particularly egregious. You’re literally staring at this every day! Have you no honor? Just remove the plastic people, it’s gonna be OK.

With abs, yes, you still need to do core to build that muscle, but you’ll never see it if your diet isn’t good (more so than other muscle groups). With other exercises, you will see results in those areas that you work. For example,

Despite its flaws I genuinely enjoy this movie. I watched it recently in preparation for this article and it still hold up for the most part.

Friendly reminder that not everyone wants to deal with your nerd box.

It’s a hard pass for me on this one. The game selection here pales in comparison to what Nintendo has offered on their mini consoles. Plus no dual shock controller is baffling for games like Ridge Racer Type 4.

This, along with Half Life 3 are at the top of my “Things I used to get excited about, but now just cant give a shit anymore” list.

tl;dr

Except those are dope ass track suits BABAY!

You’re also missing the red stormtrooper who clearly has a posse.

My biggest hope for Blackout is that they shamelessly copy all the great ideas in Fortnite into a game that I actually enjoy playing.

Sony should have one-upped Nintendo by selling “memory cards” full of games on top of the 20 baked in.
