Yeah, that’s a shit deal. Upgrading my PC in a couple days, getting a faster CPU with 5 TB of SSD room for half the price of entry Mac Pro.

Not garbage though, it’s great hardware, with a very stable OS and support that will all last for years. But yes, it is quite overpriced. Then again, you don’t have much choice if you need powerful hardware and Mac OS, so it’s not really an issue.

Well, they are dropping support for some 2010 and 2011 models, that’s 8 years of use, I’d say more than enough for a TV. Besides, you can always buy a smart device like Chromecast or Roku or a console to provide even better service that will still work with the older TV.
